Welcome to Nautical Spirit Sailing School located in scenic town of Thornbury, Ontario on the pristine shores of Georgian Bay.  We are located at the foot of The Blue Mountains, with one of the best fresh water sailing grounds in the world.

Your sailing lesson will be done in proximity of Thornbury, with spectacular views of The Blue Mountains and nearby islands or North Channel for a liveaboard package.

Nautical Spirit is a small school with a big heart, where we foster and share our passion for sailing.  Our main focus is on safety and safe operation of sailing vessels under various weather conditions.  Our objective is to see our students walk out from the course(s) with confidence and equipped with sailing knowledge which will enable them to crew, sail independently or charter abroad (after completing ASA 104).

At Nautical Spirit we strive for excellence – a safe, comfortable and inclusive learning environment is of utmost importance. We cater to new sailors who would like to be introduced to sailing, as well as advanced sailors who would like to brush up on their skills and join the ASA family.  Our liveaboard packages will take you island hopping or exploring the North Channel (weather permitting).

All lessons will be done on our pride and joy “Dream Chaser III” – 2005 Beneteau 331.  Our boat is well equipped for cruising, with features encountered on any modern boat.
