How to Gift an ASA Textbook via Apple Books using Your iPhone/iPad

Open the Books app on your iPhone/iPad. If you're not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
Tap the search icon in the bottom left and type "American Sailing Association" (or click here).
Tap the Apple Book you wish to give as a gift.
Tap the Gift icon button
Enter your recipient's email address. If you want, add a message. By default, the gift is sent immediately after you buy it. If you want to schedule the gift to send later, tap Today, then set the date that you want the gift to send.
In the upper-right corner, tap Next.
Select a theme for your gift, then tap Next.
Tap Buy, then tap Buy Now to confirm.

Open the Books app on your Mac. If you're not signed in, sign in with your Apple ID.
Tap Book Store in the top left.
Search for "American Sailing Association" (or click here) and choose the textbook you plan on giving as a gift.
Click the arrow to the right of the book's price and choose "Gift This Book"
Enter your recipient's email address. If you want, add a message. By default, the gift is sent immediately after you buy it. If you want to schedule the gift to send later, tap Today, then set the date that you want the gift to send.
In the lower-right corner, click Next.
Select a theme for your gift, then click Next.
To confirm your gift purchase, click Buy Gift. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
